an incredible attempt to break the Guiness World
Record for the longest ice hockey game. It is known

The Longest
Game
For 10 days, 40 female athletes battled mental and physical stress, exhaustion, and pain. The goal was to play one long game of ice hockey day and night for 243 hours according to Guiness World Record rules. For the entire 10 days, these players did not leave the arena or the back parking lot that fenced in their RVs and tent trailers.
As fearless and determined as these women were to achieve a sports milestone, their chief motivation was to increase awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and raise research dollars so that CF could one day stand for "Cure Found."
